CUSTOM LEATHERWORK

From dog collars and horse halters to bridles and belts—if you can dream it, I can create it. Nearly all of my items are made to order, allowing me to craft each piece to your exact specifications.

I handcraft everything using the highest quality materials and traditional techniques, which means there may be some limitations—but I’ll always work with you to get as close to your vision as possible.

Need a heavy-duty collar that outperforms store-bought options? Struggling to find a bridle or halter that fits your horse’s unique head shape? Frustrated with the quality and limited selection of mass-produced leather products? I’m happy to collaborate with you to create something truly special.

upcoming bridle fitting services

In the fall of 2024, I began an 18-month course through the Society of Master Saddlers to earn my City & Guilds Assured Certificate in Bridle Fitting including Measuring and Bitting (Qualified by the Society of Master Saddlers). Through this training, I am gaining the expertise to design and craft bespoke bridles with a precise fit tailored to each horse’s unique anatomy. Once certified, I will be able to offer professional bridle fitting services alongside my custom bridlework.

Ready-to-wear Leatherwork

While most of my leatherwork is made to order, I occasionally offer ready-to-wear pieces for sale. These may include sample items used for events, designs where I’ve experimented with new techniques, styles, or materials, or simply pieces I’ve created for the love of craftsmanship.

Each ready-to-wear item includes a detailed description, including sizing. Sample pieces may have minor imperfections from being on display, and test pieces might have slight flaws that don’t affect their function or appearance. Any such details will be reflected in the pricing—though chances are, you won’t even notice!

I try to keep a selection of ready-made items available for those who prefer not to wait for a custom order. These can be found on my website and in my Etsy shop.

LEATHER REPAIRS

Give Your Leather a Second Life!

Leather is meant to last—but that doesn’t mean it won’t need a little care along the way. Whether it’s a favorite bridle, a well-worn belt, or a dog collar that has seen better days, I offer repair services to restore and extend the life of your leather goods.

While my main focus is crafting custom leatherwork, I know the value of maintaining pieces that hold both function and sentiment. A quality repair can save you from replacing an item entirely, keeping your trusted gear in use for years to come.

Some of the repair services I offer include:

  • Replacing broken or worn-out straps

  • Installing new buckles, snap fasteners, or other hardware

  • Replacing missing or broken keepers

  • Restitching frayed or broken stitching using traditional hand-sewing techniques

  • Shortening or lengthening straps for a better fit

Repair rates vary based on the complexity of the work and the materials required. Currently, general labor costs are calculated on a basis of €40 per hour plus materials (subject to change).

If your leather item needs some TLC, don’t hesitate to reach out. I’ll assess the condition and recommend a solution to bring it back to life—so you can keep using what you love, without compromise.
