It has been really fun to grow my skills at making browbands, and I am so pleased with how these are turning out. All of my browbands are cut by hand from the hide rather than being stamped out by a commercial die. While it is certainly a labor of love to make these, I love the fact that I can tweak each design as I go, and it allows me to choose the best bits of the leather to cut from. I can also easily adjust the drop of the browband – this one is a 1 1/2 inch drop, which makes a nice gentle curve. This browband also features a quick-change system, which secures to the bridle by a delicate but strong chrome stud.
