This was the very first halter that I created after a 12+ year break from leatherworking. While parts of it didn’t turn out completely as I had hoped, it was a fantastic learning piece and I have since built upon the design to perfect the overall look and quality of the piece.

Full grain vegetable tanned leather in black from Wickett & Craig;

Navy Lambskin Nappa padded leather on the crown and nose pieces;

High quality black linen thread, hand stitched throughout;

All chrome fittings, heavy-duty buckles and snaps;

Rolled leather throat latch with snap;

Full size with adjustable chin strap and double buckles on the crown piece.
